Shipping & Delivery
Every family’s situation is different.
Some families prefer to pick up their puppy in person, while others may need help arranging transportation because they live farther away.
Before your puppy goes home, we will discuss your location, the puppy’s age, travel arrangements, and the option that makes the most sense for the situation.
We want you to understand the process before making any final arrangements.
Local Puppy Pickup
If you are able to pick up your puppy in person, we can arrange a suitable pickup time once everything has been confirmed.
To reserve a puppy for local pickup, we accept a reservation fee. The reservation fee helps secure the puppy while pickup arrangements are finalized. Please contact us for current reservation details, including the fee amount, payment information, and applicable terms.
Before pickup, we recommend preparing everything your puppy will need for the journey home.
This may include:
- A secure puppy carrier
- Water
- Puppy-safe bedding
- Paper towels or cleanup supplies
- A leash or harness when appropriate
- Any health records or information provided with your puppy
If you have a long drive home, plan for safe breaks and avoid leaving your puppy unattended in a vehicle.
Puppy Shipping & Delivery
Safe, Comfortable Delivery for Your New Dachshund Puppy
Not every family lives close enough to pick up their puppy in person. That shouldn’t stop you from finding the Dachshund puppy that’s right for your home.
For families who need delivery, we offer several transportation options designed to make your puppy’s journey as comfortable and organized as possible.
Depending on your location and preference, you can choose Specialty Ground Transport, Private Ground Transport, or Air Transport with an In-Cabin Flight Nanny.
We will discuss the available options with you before your puppy travels so you know what to expect from beginning to end.
Our Puppy Delivery Options
Specialty Ground Transport
Specialty ground transport is a convenient option for families who prefer to have their puppy travel by road.
Your puppy travels with an experienced pet transporter who handles puppy transportation as part of their service.
This option can be a good choice for families who live within a reasonable driving distance but cannot make the trip themselves.
During the journey, the transporter takes care of the puppy and coordinates the delivery location and estimated arrival time with you.
Specialty Ground Transport may be a good fit if you:
- Prefer your puppy to travel by road
- Cannot travel to pick up your puppy yourself
- Live within an area served by one of our transporters
- Want a convenient delivery option without flying
Delivery times can vary depending on your location, route, weather, and other scheduled stops.
Private Ground Transport
For families who prefer a more personal transportation option, Private Ground Transport may be available.
With private transport, the trip is arranged specifically around your puppy’s delivery rather than being part of a larger scheduled route.
This can provide a more direct journey and greater flexibility when arranging the delivery.
Private transport is especially useful for families who want their puppy delivered directly to an agreed location without having to travel to an airport.
Because every trip is different, pricing depends on the distance and delivery location.
Air Transport With an In-Cabin Flight Nanny
For families who live farther away, we also offer air transportation with a flight nanny.
Your puppy travels inside the airplane cabin with the flight nanny throughout the flight.
The flight nanny stays with your puppy during the journey and personally accompanies the puppy to the agreed airport.
Once the flight arrives, you will meet the flight nanny and receive your puppy directly.
How Flight Nanny Delivery Works
1. We arrange the trip
Once your puppy is ready to travel, we help coordinate the flight and delivery details.
2. Your puppy travels in the cabin
The flight nanny accompanies your puppy during the flight and keeps the puppy with them inside the aircraft cabin.
3. You receive travel updates
We make sure you have the important travel information so you know when to expect your puppy.
4. Meet your puppy at the airport
You meet the flight nanny at the agreed airport and finally get to take your new Dachshund home.
